When are you open, and when can you get food?
We’re open from 9 a.m. to around midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until around 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. The kitchen is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., so if you come in hungry between 4 and 5 p.m., you can have a beer while the kitchen gets ready for dinner.
Can you come without making a reservation?
Absolutely. We only take reservations for indoor seating, so there’s a good chance you can stop by and get a table outside.
Can you sit outside, even in the winter?
Yes, you can sit outside all year round. The outdoor tables just can't be reserved. They're for walk-ins.
How much does it cost, roughly, to eat at your restaurant?
Lunch typically costs 212–332 kr. per person, including drinks, and dinner costs 272–472 kr. per person, including drinks.
Does water cost anything?
Water costs 15 kr. per person, and we'll keep refilling your glass as long as you're seated. You can choose whether you want it with or without carbonation.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. We have a changing table and a high chair for the little ones, and a four-course children’s menu.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome.
How can I pay?
By credit card (except American Express) or cash. We do not accept MobilePay.
Are there any stairs, and is the place wheelchair-accessible?
There are no stairs, just one small step at the entrance, so wheelchair users are very welcome. However, our restroom is a typical Nyhavn restroom and so small that, unfortunately, a wheelchair cannot fit inside.
Are you open during Christmas and New Year's?
We will be closed for Christmas starting December 23 at 5:00 p.m. and will reopen on December 27 at 9:00 a.m. On New Year's Eve, we will be closed starting at 3:00 p.m., and we will reopen on January 2 at 9:00 a.m.
